Boost the sabre trees so that MLS isn't a must have (like on live)
Spread Jedi defences out amongst all the trees (so you're not forced into defender) Leave AI as is for MD but maybe tone down damage output as the MD is concentrating on Defence and staying alive. Give them a massive taunt ability that guarantees whichever mob is fighting the MD is focused on him and not others.

If you're not going to boost Jedi that are not in the journeyman/FRS process then remove them all from the terminals. As it stands Jedi cannot compete unless they're MD even then if 5 BH's come after you, you will either run or die.





Seems like you must play on another server...

They already "fixed" terms long ago... there's no Jedi on them on a daily basis. The only exception has been Disciple. Prior to that, it wasn't 5v1, it was 1v1 and the Jedi would just run to the water and report you for hunting him. Good luck finding 5 BH's to hunt you. :P

Veruca you can assume I play on another server but I don't. Just because no BH's currently go around hunting 5v1 is irrelevant, you think game mechanics should change just because it's not currently happening? What happens if it does?

I stopped playing Jedi after the purge because on this server it's just not worth it.

This is a never ending debate, always has been, always will be. Jedi is the worst thing to deal with in this game.

Between the AFK Farmers, the PVPr's, The Jedi Role-players, and the BH its freaking nonstop BS.

Pump is correct, (and also one of the better defender's I have ever played with/against) AI is not overpowered, countering with "channel force" is irrelevant.

The build gives up active skills for passive skills at a significant point cost. The only active skill being AI, its a top tier master level skill like FR3. Are you putting FR3, Heal All Self and Choke on a 30 min timer? My point should be clear.

As to armor and clothes: The notes are unclear, what are "Tributary" stats. As an AS already concerned with how how armor is balanced here this is concerning, unless the point is to make a strictly PVE server.

Do I understand correctly BE skill mods were removed on clothing? If so why what would the point be of removing a crafters revenue stream? This renders BE's useful for crafting nutrients for food on this server, since any BE pet is now not going to be competitive with what can be tamed and if BE clothing mods are removed there goes sales in that area.

Also to your SEA changes:

Historically in Beta Commando mods were disabled for a good reason, a very good reason, which is that only a top end Kryat flamer with great tissues should be hitting at 1 sec, even then its offset by lower damage.

Intim, CBD, Warcry have been tested over a year ago on Nova, there are threads its a simple search, its not about extending duration, its about efficacy of those skills. Lots of good threads.

Jedi only need accuracy, Not speed, unless the point is to make a sub optimized non-mls build that is speed capped but gimped on damage and will die to a MLS build and most competent BH.

TKM's do not need more defensive acuity, the way the defense mod works in the code and given it's triggers they are just fine, especially if they are hard capped on tapes.

Yep your point is kind of clear and I thought mine was to but obviously not.. My point was its not IF it will change its WHEN it changes and what should be implemented. Hope that clears it up a bit.

No you are wrong the mods that were removed from clothing were the loot drops seeing those are the only ones that pull from the same list of mods as the CA/AA. So instead of getting useless Ithorian clothing with mods that make absolutly no sense you will get Ithorian clothing with mods that will make sense or no mods at all.. Just like the weapons when you loot a pistol and get a rifle mod it.. Does not make much sense now does it.

It seems you did not read all the notes about the changes cause Powers now will use LS speed to calculate how fast abilities can be used. It also nice to have when you grinding up LS prior to getting your 3 or 4 box in a saber discipline but it seems you are only thinking about existing jedi not ones that are just unlocking.

I will say that it is kind of amusing most of the people who have posted on this thread have been constructive and it seems you and Pump just want to bitch about the changes with out adding anything constructive to the conversation that would help better the changes other then LEAVE IT AS IS.

So with that said im out of here for the weekend for a baseball tournament y'all have fun.

I like the idea of adding the LS Speed tapes! It will definitely make the grind to full temp a lot easier once you get tapes and will help your guildies possibly once you are done.

I think the Jedi Tapes and removal of the useless tapes is very much needed as seeing a 25 drop of a tape that is broken was always just a huge bummer! Well done!
